Procedure Fees

For all privately insured patients, Dr Desmond and his anaesthetist on the day of the procedure will directly bill the health fund - with no out of pocket expenses to the patient. All pathology will be billed directly to your health fund.

If the patient has an excess with their health fund, this amount will be advised by the hospital, we do not have any control over this.

For UNINSURED patients

Procedures can be performed at Glen lris Private - For aged pensions ONLY *Gastroscopy $140.00, Colonoscopy $170.00, or Gas/Colon $220.00.
Dr Desmond and his anaesthetist will bulk bill Medicare

For people who are NOT an aged pensioner the following fees apply:
Gastroscopy $350.00, Colonoscopy $500.00, Gas/Colon $600.0O.
Dr Desmond and his anaesthetist will bulk bill Medicare

ALL OF THESE FEES are set by and paid directly to Glen lris Private. We have no control ofthese fees.
